There’s something deeply grounding about working with clay—its weight, its texture, the way it responds to every movement. Pottery is a creative process that’s never quite the same twice. It’s messy, imperfect, and full of surprises, and that’s what makes it so special. Each piece carries the marks of the moment it was made, a reflection of patience and presence. It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t come from perfection, but from process.

i fell in love with pottery when i was introduced to the wheel in a beginners pottery class a little over a year ago. having recently quit my job as a chemist, I was looking for a creative avenue and a way to relax. i found working with my hands to manipulate the clay therapeutic. shortly after, i bought a wheel and started practicing out of my garage almost every day. i’ve since dedicated (and renovated) a space for a home studio where i’m continuing to learn and grow as an artist. come check out what’s going on in the studio!
why pots & pines? it’s the reflection of my two dreams: being an artist and owning a christmas tree farm.
